Country Manager
Our client is a mining company with operations located in Saudi Arabia.Due to their expansion, our client is looking for a Country Manager based in Saudi Arabia. The purpose of this operational field position will be to control and manage their operations in Saudi Arabia and be the key representative of the company. With a proactive approach, the Country Manager will be responsible to drive the business forward.
The applicants will possess:
-Mining background
-A minimum of 10 years hands-on experience
-Ability to work in a cross cultural environment
-Ability to supervise and lead a team
-Self-motivation
-Excellent communication skills
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Ability to speak both English and Arabic fluently
Previous experience in the Arabic countries would be highly considered.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
-Liaison with governmental bodies and local authorities
-Supervise operational side of their projects
-Be in charge of OH&S / Environmental issues
-Supervising expatriates
-Supervising and training the crew of local workers
-Budget development, reporting and cost control
-Business development
