Russian speaking tool pushers

Our client, operating in the Kyrgyz Republic, is currently looking for a Russian Speaking Tool pushers to join their team immediately. Candidates for these roles will be required to work hand in hand with the drilling crews with the purpose of making a safer & better drilling operation.

TOOL PUSHERS:

This position reports directly to the Drill Site Manager.

In this role, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Introducing (ongoing) & maintaining a safe working environment on the drilling rig at all times in all areas
- Enforcing the company HSE policies
- Attend all drilling rig weekly safety meetings, pre-tour safety meetings & pre-job safety meetings
- Train the Kyrgyz drillers for a better & smarter performance particularly in well control (early detection), well kill & organizing the drilling crews to work with set tasks efficiently
- Manage & oversee the (yet to be introduced) Preventative Maintenance System particularly the servicing of all rotating/moving equipment
- Ordering of spare parts & consumables way ahead of time for the drilling rig, plus ordering equipment, if felt necessary
- Plan ahead & co-ordinate rig moving activities to dramatically improve present rig moving times

To be successful you have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in oil drilling
- Relevant qualifications
- Proven track record in training of locals
- Ability to work in a cross cultural environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in both English and Russian
