a Finance Controller
A leading multinational Tobacco company in Caucasus is looking for a Finance Controller. The company consists from three countries: Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. It has production and sales operations.
Area of responsibilities: Caucasus
Reports to: Head of Finance
Function: Finance.
Duty Station: Baku, Azerbaijan
Purpose statement: Assist Head of Finance in developing Finance Strategies for the area and drive the implementation process to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that internal policies and procedures are in place and they are implemented properly.
2. Develop and implement systems that will ensure effective and efficient resource allocation throughout the Company.
3. To provide relevant Managers with financial analysis and advice to enhance decision making.
4. Assist Head of Finance and Managers in developing pricing strategies by providing comprehensive value chain analysis.
5. Monitoring and presenting financial performance results to senior management to identify and address key issues/priorities.
6. Ensure that all Internal and external reports are prepared on a timely basis and accurate.
7. Improve forecasting systems and tools to be able to have reliable and on hand Business Performance Forecasts.
8. Coordinate Company Plan process to obtain input from all functions and integrate long term strategies with operational planning.
9. Ensure that reliable cash or cash deficit situations.
10. Lead tax team.
11. Assist Head of Finance Managers awareness of Finance.
12. Develop staff to create well motivated Finance Team.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
1. Professional Finance qualification (ACCA is a must)
2. 3+ years of working experience at finance management level.
3. Complete understanding of key financial strategies and accounting tools.
4. Knowledge of company internal reporting requirements, experience in Marketing Finance, Financial and Management Accounting.
5. Strong leadership skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to get on in a multicultural environment.
8. Excellent analytical skills.
9. Team worker.
10. Self-organized.
11. Familiar with PC applications.
12. Excellent knowledge of English.
13. Free to travel to all the cluster's countries.
